Regional Tourism Infrastructure Fund
Round 1 closing 12 November 2025
Funding up to $300,000 ex GST, no mandatory co-contribution. Project must be located outside of South East QLD. To support regional tourism projects that showcase the best of Queensland, including new attractions, upgrades, eco-lodges, glamping, agri-tourism, ecotourism and stargazing adventures. Read more.
Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) Round 125
Closing 31 October 2025
$35,000 standard round. Remember, these grants are highly competitive – Round 124 received over $280M in requests, yet the fund has an annual budget of $60M. To be competitive, you MUST demonstrate ‘need’ and ‘community benefit’. Check out this link.

Brisbane City Council Lord Mayor’s Community Fund
Rolling application, Councillor discretionary funding program
Funding of $250 – $10,000. For local projects that create stronger social bonds. Read here.
Aurizon Community Giving Fund
Closing 17 October 2025
Grants up to $20,000. To support projects that benefit our local communities in the areas of health and wellbeing, community safety, environment and education. Read here.
BMD Community Assistance Program
Closing 31 October 2025
One-off support payments up to $5,000. For local groups and organisations delivering initiatives that create lasting benefits in the communities where BMD operates. Accepted categories: Arts and culture, Health and wellbeing, Environment, Education, Community Safety, Youth engagement. More info.
Bundaberg Regional Council Community Services Program
Round 3 closing 28 November 2025
Grants up to $5,000 for events/projects held after end January. For local community groups/organisations who make positive contributions to the quality of life in the Bundaberg Region. Read here.
Queensland Gives by QCF General Fund Capacity Building Grants
Closing 12 December 2025
Grants up to $30,000. To support organisational capacity building of mid-tier organisations. Read more here.
Queensland Gives by QCF Regional Grant-Making
Closing 12 December 2025
Grants between $5,000 to $30,000. To support organisations providing aged care, family support, children, health and welfare, youth and arts in Goldcoast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Darling Downs and Northern QLD. More info.
Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants
Open now, rolling application to Feb 2026
The program aims to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australia’s service personnel who served in wars, conflicts and peace operations, including National Service personnel, and their families.
Community Grants – up to $10,000 are available for local, community-based projects and activities.
Major Grants – $10,001 and $150,000 available for major commemorative projects and activities that are significant from a national, state, territory and/or broader regional perspective. Read here.
Brisbane City Council Community Support Category
Opens 23 March 2026. Closing 11 May 2026
Funding up to $10,000. For projects that respond to local community needs, improve community facilities and build organisational capacity. Read here.
Gold Coast City Council Community Projects Program
Rolling non-competitive application with grants assessed within 4 weeks of receipt. Closing 1 June 2026.
