COMMUNITY GRANTS
Games On! Grassroots Infrastructure Program
Closing 18 March 2026
Projects located within urban and regional LGAs: $50,000 – $499,999. Full applications for invited applicants will close in June. Field of Play category funds smaller, community-level infrastructure projects like shade structures, LED lights, and the upgrading of existing facilities to help more people get involved in sports. 2025.26 Volunteer Grant Round for Bowman Electorate & Redlands
Closing 31 March 2026
Grants of between $1,000 and $5,000. For eligible not-for-profit community organisations. For items and recognition that support and celebrate volunteers. Read here.

Brisbane City Council Community Support Category
Opens 23 March 2026. Closing 11 May 2026
Funding up to $10,000. For projects that respond to local community needs, improve community facilities and build organisational capacity. Read here.
Gold Coast City Council Community Projects Program
Rolling non-competitive application with grants assessed within 4 weeks of receipt. Closing 30 May 2026.

Brisbane City Council Lord Mayor’s Community Fund
Closing 12 June 2026. Councillor discretionary funding program
Funding of $250 – $10,000. For local projects that create stronger social bonds. Read here.
Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants (GO7626)
Closing 21 January 2027
The program aims to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australia’s service personnel who served in wars, conflicts and peace operations, including National Service personnel, and their families.
Community Grants – up to $10,000 are available for local, community-based projects and activities.
Major Grants – $10,001 and $150,000 available for major commemorative projects and activities that are significant from a national, state, territory and/or broader regional perspective. Read here.
Bundaberg Regional Council Sport Championship Funding
Open all year round until budgeted funds are expended
Grants up to $5,000. For regional, state, international sporting events that attract majority participation from outside the region. Link here.
Townsville City Council Community Grants
Rolling application
Funding up to $25,000. For projects including festivals, events, competitions, workshops and projects (check eligibility criteria). Check here.
GRANTS FOR SMALL BUSINESS
Transforming Queensland Manufacturing Grants Program
Round 1 closing 16 April 2026
Matched funding grants of $100,000 to $1.5 million. For eligible Queensland-based manufacturers. For projects that are facilitating pathways for export opportunities, reshoring or onshoring manufacturing activity currently undertaken interstate or overseas, improving manufacturing productivity and competitiveness, and stimulating private sector investment and generating jobs.
