With assistance from GrantsPlus Consulting, Redlands Touch received a healthy $10,000 grant in the first round of Get in the Game – Get Going funding announced by the State Government recently.
The funding will be used to deliver an innovative Referee Mentoring Program that aims to build the already considerable depth and quality of referees across the Association. The club will also deliver school holiday training and participation sessions for new and existing players, to increase skill development and engage first time players.
15 clubs in Redlands received more than 115,600 in the first round of state Government Get Going Grants. More than $80,000 of that funding was awarded to beneficiaries of free grant writing workshop delivered by GrantsPlus and hosted by Cleveland District SHS P&C Association with the support of Redland City Council’s Community Grants Program.
