it's about standing out...

building a stronger community...

working toward a better tomorrow...

Big shout out to our wonderful clubs who were successful in Round 6 of the Get Going Clubs grants in 2017 – congratulations to you all!

Darling Point Sailing Squadron will upskill volunteers in a range of courses including Marine Radio Operators training, powerboat and safety boat handling; First Aid and CPR.  North Brisbane Junior Motorcycle Club and Wynnum District Lawn Tennis Association will also upskill volunteers in First Aid, and purchase defibrillators and shade.

The Brisbane Gun Club at Belmont is preparing to address safety and participation through first aid training and a targeted participation initiative for women and girls. Redlands Touch Association is celebrating the addition of a lightweight golf cart, which will support volunteers to respond quickly to on-field incidents and better manage large competition events.

Clubs are eligible to apply every 2 years to this program, so 2018 will see all clubs who were successful in 2016 ready to apply again.
