It’s time to celebrate some success for our fabulous clients – and after such a challenging time over the last 2 years we really are doing a ‘happy-dance’ right now! In the last 5 months alone, we’ve recorded over $2.27M (!!) in combined successes for well-deserving client groups!
Down Syndrome QLD has celebrated some big wins in December, Jan/Feb and May with significant funding to expand services for people with Intellectual Disability, their families and carers across the state. Check out the great work DSQ does at their Facebook page.
GCBF applications have run hot with Kilcoy Motorcycle Club, Redlands Baseball Club, Urangan State High School, Little Ships Club, Broadbeach Waters Kindy, Bayside Flyball Club and Redlands Touch all tasting success – new playground equipment, machinery, storage containers, fencing and lots of fun and important equipment for community benefit.
Active Game Day funding was finally announced after a prolonged assessment period interrupted by the floods – congratulations to both Wynnum Golf Club and Redlands Baseball Club on their successful projects! Redlands Baseball will upgrade the safety fencing around their premier diamond and Wynnum Golf will upgrade their course irrigation to help get and keep their greens in tip-top shape. Gold Coast District Cricket Club was also successful in their Australian Cricket Fund applications and a large number of clubs and organisations, including Fun Farm Ltd and St Brendan’s College Yeppoon, received small, medium and larger grants from state government and local Council programs and smaller corporate/philanthropic funds.
It’s so good to finally start sharing some uplifting news again!
