Creating stronger communities...

it's about standing out...

Big shout out and congratulations to the latest group of our clients to receive Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grants – Capalaba Men’s Lawn Bowls Club; Donald Simpson Centre; North Stradbroke Island Rugby League and All Sports Club; and Triple R Motorsports Ltd.  These groups received a collective $86000+ for small and larger projects including solar PV, new lighting and PA system, earthworks and refurbishments that will provide great benefit to their members and the community.

These clients add to the list of clients also successful in Rounds 102 & 101 – Kilcoy Motorcross Club; Down Syndrome Queensland; Capalaba Sports Club; Broadbeach Bulls; BayView State School P&C Association; Alexandra Hills Men’s Shed; Milla Milla State School P&C Association; and Redlands Touch Association – a fantastic total just over $221,000 for new facilities and equipment.

The GCBF is highly competitive so it pays to stay the course and remain persistent, especially now!  We notice in these 3 rounds there are also quite a few previous clients having the confidence to resubmit applications that we’ve supported them with in earlier rounds – persisting in the resubmission process until their number comes up!  We love to help build the capacity of volunteers in the grants space and celebrate each and every win.

The GCBF has new rules, effective from Round 103, so make sure you’re reading the latest guidelines each time to keep current.
