Autumn 2025 Grants Update

 

Feature Grant

 

Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants

Open now, rolling application to Feb 2026

The program aims to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australia’s service personnel who served in wars, conflicts and peace operations, including National Service personnel, and their families.

Community Grants – up to $10,000 are available for local, community-based projects and activities.

Major Grants – $10,001 and $150,000 available for major commemorative projects and activities that are significant from a national, state, territory and/or broader regional perspective. Read here.

 

Changed GCBF Schedule for 2025 – NOTE that the Super Round has changed!

  • Round 124—$100,000 super round — closes 30 June
  • Round 125—$35,000 standard round—closes 31 October.

Note – if applying for items under $35,000 consider waiting for the standard round, which typically sees a higher proportion of grants funded than super rounds. Check out this link.

 

Community Grants

 

Touring Queensland Fund Round 6

Opens 31 March 2025. Closing 12 May 2025

Funding of up to $100,000 for single-year touring programs and single-tours. Funding of up to $150,000 per annum for multi-year touring program. Applicants can apply for up to 50% of the total project costs. To support arts presenters and producers in the delivery of performing arts, visual arts, contemporary music gigs and cultural heritage touring activity. Brisbane City Council Better Suburbs Community Support Grant

Closing 12 May 2025

Funding up to $10,000. To support projects that respond to local community needs, improve community facilities and build organisational capacity. Click link.

Elders Community Giving Fund

Closing 15 May 2025

To deliver positive outcomes for Australian rural, regional and remote communities. Offers up to 12 grants, with two tiers of funding at $10,000 and $20,000 per grant. Check this link.

Redland Foundation Jeffery & Geraldine Underhill Grants

Opens May 2025

Funding up to $10,000 for small infrastructure upgrades and contributions towards major infrastructure projects in the Redlands. Read more.

Sport and Recreation Disaster Recovery Program (SRDRP)

Closing 10 June 2025

Funding up to $5,000 for sports clubs affected by TC Alfred in March 2025. To re-establish their facilities and activities after extreme natural events, including floods, fire, cyclones and severe storms. Click here.

Brisbane City Council Lord Mayor’s Community Fund

Closing 13 June 2025

Funding up to $10,000. To support community projects that build stronger communities in Brisbane such as events, equipment for events, facility improvements for community and sporting organisations. Read here.

 

GRANTS FOR SMALL BUSINESS

 

Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Grant Program Round 2

Closing 30 June 2025 or until funds are exhausted

Funding of up to $50k. For QLD SME manufacturers to implement energy efficiency measures including LED lighting. Check this link.

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred Small Business Grants

Closing 2 April 2026

Disaster recovery grants are now available to small and family businesses in 16 local government areas that were impacted by ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

These grants will fund up to $25,000 for clean-up and return to operation costs, including: debris removal, replacing damaged equipment, building repairs, safety inspections and restocking and replanting. More info here.

HR Support Grants for Small Business

Subject to funding availability

Funding up to $5,000 for small businesses with an immediate need for new and innovative human resources (HR) solutions to support their business.  Find out more.
