It was great to attend Judo Queensland’s 2015 International Open event in Ormiston last year. The event attracted 367 competitors from all over Queensland and Australia as well as international competitors from Japan, New Zealand and several other countries. Doesn’t the new floor look great, thanks to their GCBF grant.
Judo QLD is also nurturing the leadership capabilities and capacity of talented women players through their successful Women Leaders in Sport Grant from the Australian Sports Commission.
This grant will allow JFAQ to nurture female leaders in governance, coaching, officiating and administration to grow female participation and to provide more more visible, positive female role models for young women in Judo.
