Feature Grant – GCBF Disaster Relief Round
Closing 15 July 2022
The new $100k disaster assistance round of GCBF is NOW OPEN. This round combines the 2 standard May and August rounds into one fund, to strategically assist community groups hit by flooding and natural disasters anytime in the last 2 years. Up to $100,000 can be requested for disaster recovery activity but only the usual $35,000 is available for all other applications that are non-disaster related.
Importantly, the one-round exclusion period for previous recipients is WAIVED for applicants of this round, although we are still clarifying if this is only for disaster-affected applicants. More on GCBF’s Disaster Round here.
COMMUNITY ORGANISATION GRANTS
Sport Australia Sporting Schools Program
Closing 3 June 2022
Funding up to $3,600 for primary school and $2,500 for secondary school to help schools increase children’s participation in sport and connect them with community sporting opportunities. Info here.
Community Road Safety Education Grants
Closing 10 June 2022
Funding up to $40,000 to support local road safety initiatives that drive a change in behaviours and attitudes to road safety in local communities. Read here.

Real Insurance Real School Grants Program

GRANTS and AWARDS FOR SMALL BUSINESS
Pre-release Information for Business Boost
Up to $15,000 for businesses – information will be released mid-July for a late July/early August round. Keep up to date here.
Small Business Support and Wellness Package Announced
The QLD Government has announced funding to support the mental health and wellness of small business owners; including increased access to a $3 million Small Business Support Services Fund to assist small business owners to alleviate their current situation; and a promotional campaign to increase awareness of the support available to small businesses. Queensland Small Business Hardship Appeal
The QLD Small Business Hardship Appeal opens on Thursday 19 May 2022 to help small businesses recover from hardship and get back on their feet. GIVIT will manage the Small Business Hardship Appeal to help businesses who have been impacted by the recent pandemic and natural disasters.
